Common Questions

Is this experience suitable for families?

We welcome families with children aged 12+, as younger children may find the conditions challenging. The community loves sharing their ways with curious young minds.

How remote is the community?

The Yagua village is a 4-hour boat ride from Iquitos. There's no electricity or cell service, but we carry a satellite phone for emergencies.

What about dietary restrictions?

The diet consists mainly of fish, plantains, and local fruits. Vegetarians can be accommodated, but vegans may find it challenging. Please discuss any allergies when booking.
